Questions coaches usually ask

Can I import drills from existing tools (PDF, Google Drive, video)?

Yes for video — paste a YouTube or Vimeo URL and we embed it on the drill. PDF and Google Drive imports aren’t parsed yet; you can attach links in the notes field and we’ll surface them.

Is there a mobile app, or just a responsive web view?

Native iOS and Android apps are live for athletes, parents, coaches, and support staff. The coach workspace (drill authoring, planning, AI generation) is web-first because it benefits from a larger screen.

Can athletes use it offline on the ice or at the rink?

Yes. The mobile app caches the next seven days of scheduled work so athletes can pull up tonight’s session without a connection. Completions queue locally and sync once the device is back online.

How does the AI review actually score drills?

Each AI-generated or AI-reviewed drill is scored against a 50-point hockey rubric covering objective clarity, spatial realism, age-appropriateness, coaching cues, and progressions. The rubric and the prompt are version-controlled in the repo — no opaque black box.

What happens to my data when billing opens?

Nothing changes. Drills, sessions, plans, and athlete data stay on your account. When billing opens we’ll send notice and you’ll pick a plan — Starter remains free for solo coaches.

Is there a free trial after billing opens?

Yes — Team Pro will include a 14-day trial, no card upfront. Starter is permanently free for one coach with a single team.

What’s the migration path from Starter → Team → Org tier?

One-click upgrade in your workspace settings. Data carries forward, including drills you authored on Starter. Tier-specific features (e.g. multi-coach review, org-level libraries) unlock immediately on plan change.
